Where is Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock Located?

So this is something I didn’t fully understand before going – but ended up loving.

The Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock is located in the Village of Oak Creek, which is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Sedona.

And honestly…. I would choose this again in a heartbeat.

It’s quieter. Less crowded. And you’re still surrounded by those incredible red rock views Sedona is known for.

Plus you’re right by Bell Rock, which is one of the easiest and most beautiful hikes in Sedona.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay in Sedona without the chaos of downtown, this is such as good option.

The Rooms: More Like Suites Than Hotel Rooms

One of the first things I noticed when we walked in was how much space we had.

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms – they feel more like mini suites, which makes a big difference if you’re staying more than a night or traveling with kids.

Here’s what stood out to me:

  • Separate living space (so you’re not all on top of each other)
  • Comfortable beds (this matters more than we admit)
  • Clean, simple design that feels calming
  • Some rooms have patios or balconies

Pools, Spa, and Things to Do at the Resort

This is where the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock really surprised me. There’s actually a lot to do without ever leaving the property.

The Pools

The pool areas feel really laid-back – not overly crowded, not chaotic.

It’s the kind of place where:

  • Kids can swim and be happy
  • You can sit and actually relax for a minute
  • Separate private adult only pool

And let’s be honest…..those moment matter.

The Spa

Sedona has this calming, almost grounding energy to it, and the spa leans into that. If you have time, I would absolutely carve out a little space for this.

I definitely had visions of slipping away to the spa for a little “me time” …. but my son had other plans, and family time won this round.

Thankfully, the resort made it easy to enjoy every second together, with game areas, cozy s’mores by the fire, stargazing events, and live music.

And let me just say, live acoustic music is my thing. It instantly sets the tone and makes everything feel a little more magical.

Golf & Fitness

There’s also:

A full golf course with beautiful views

A fitness center if you want to keep your routine going

And a tennis court if you’re up for a little competition.

It’s one of those places where you could leave all day, or not leave at all.

The Food (Honestly One of My Favorite Parts)

Okay, let’s talk about what ended up being my favorite part of this stay – the food!

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this to be a highlight, but it really was.

If the photos in this post haven’t convinced you yet, let me just say this….. the food here is just amazing. Not overly complicated. Not trying too hard. Just fresh, flavorful, and easy.

After long days exploring Sedona, it felt so nice to come back and not have to overthink where to eat. Everything we had was consistently delicious and comforting in the best way.

And here’s the surprising part, I’m not normally a breakfast person but that changed here. If you stay at Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock, do yourself a favor and don’t skip breakfast. Go every morning. Your stomach will thank you.

The Belgian waffles? I’m still think about them. Perfectly golden with that light, candy-like crunch. It’s actually what inspired me to try making my own at home. And the look on my son’s face after his first bite? One of those simple, unforgettable moments.

“Somewhere between living and dreaming, there’s Sedona” – unknown

Below is a list of posts to continue reading about our adventures in Arizona and an overall summary of our trip.

Carson and I got to experience the beauty of Arizona. The hills, mountains, red rocks and desert terrain captivated us throughout its change in scenery. We took up our wings in a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, did some hiking, went glamping, saw the red rocks from the sky, and experienced the outback off-road. Overall, this was a great, very memorable vacation.

If you have more time than we did, I have a few recommendations below:

One

I recommend staying a couple more days in Sedona to do a few more different hiking trails. I would also have added one more day at the Grand Canyon too for another day of hiking.

Two

If you have even a few more days you can push on top of that, then I would recommend going to Page Arizona to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and then into Utah to Lake Powell (rent a jet ski for the day).

Three

If you need a good car break between Sedona and the Grand Canyon, I recommend Bearizona in Williams, AZ.

Bearizona is a great place to stop. This attraction provided the perfect leg break from the car after we finished the drive-through attraction. If you have never seen a live bear in the wild, this would provide a great safe opportunity because bears are free to roam the drive-through exhibit.
