Our Experience

Who would have thought that children are allowed into bars in Nashville during the day. But it was seriously a really neat experience!

We walked through the strip of Broadway Street Nashville, taking in the entire ambiance down the legendary country road of music.

So how did we end up at this bar? To be honest, I never heard of this well-known honky-tonk bar. I definitely had no intention of bringing my son to a bar at all either. But it was fate.

We were in an elevator at our hotel, the Gaylord Opryland Resort and a family that we shared the elevator with just came back from the famous music strip and were telling us all about it.

They could tell that I had NO idea what they were talking about, so they were gracious enough to take the time to explain and insisted it was part of the Nashville experience.

I was intrigued and started researching the history of Tootsies.
